Gerade reingekommen:
Die neue Version von Bru'n Water (Pro) 5.5.
Also, wer gespendet hat, bitte Spam Ordner checken.
Wie immer wird es wohl ein paar Tage dauern, bis jeder die Mail mit der neuen Version erhält.
Das läuft immer noch old-school und dauert halt.
This is a major upgrade to Bru'n Water (v 5.5). The pH prediction has been further improved, additional grain options have been added, calculations for thin mashes are improved, and the addition of sodium metabisulfite allows users to explore low dissolved oxygen brewing.
Due to file blocking by some email providers, you must manually change the file name extension from .dat to .xls in order for the program to function properly.
If the program gives a Circular Reference Warning when opened, go to the Excel Options and click on the Formulas tab. Check mark the "Enable iterative calculation" box and the program should operate properly and the warning will not be displayed. In LibreOffice, go to Tools, Options, LibreOffice Calc, Calculations and check the Iterative References box.
If you are an existing Supporter using the Data Manager, you can easily move your existing data from your existing program to this new version. Click on cell E3 on the Data Manager sheet in your existing version and then highlight all the light blue cells. Then Copy that selection (CTRL C) and open the new version to the Data Manager sheet. Click on cell E3 in the vew version and Paste (CTRL V) your data into the new program. You will have to go into your data set and manually change the words “Roast Malt” to just “Roast” in order to get the program to operate properly.
If you have any troubles in getting your program operating, visit the troubleshooting page on the Bru’n Water website: https://sites.google.com/site/brunwater ... leshooting
Again, thank you for your support!
Enjoy!
